Hosting and server logs

The site is hosted by Cloudflare, Inc. (101 Townsend St, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA). Cloudflare processes technically necessary data (e.g. IP address, time, requested URL, browser identifier) to deliver the site and protect it against attacks (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Cloudflare is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework; standard contractual clauses also apply.

Language detection

To send you to the German or English page automatically, the server evaluates your browser’s language setting and the country determined by Cloudflare. Nothing is stored.

Feedback form

If you write to us via the form, we store your message and, optionally, your name, email address and photo in Cloudflare Workers KV to handle your request (Art. 6(1)(a) and (f) GDPR). Entries are deleted automatically after 6 months at the latest. To prevent abuse, a non-reversible, daily rotating hash of your IP address is stored for 10 minutes. The form is intended for people aged 16 and over; please do not upload photos showing recognizable people.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability and objection, and to withdraw consent. Just email us.
